Grave and headstone is shared with her father Richard and her sister Ruth (aka Sylvia Ruth). The gravestone was designed by the controversial artist, Eric Gill but it's unknown if he actually sculpted it.

The Hunt Ball, one of the most brilliant social events of the year, so far as Hertfordshire is concerned, took place at the Clarendon Hall, on Wednesday night. By 10 o'clock the guests began to arrive, and soon the ball room was crowded. Included in the list of guests were Miss Daisy Du Cane and Mr. Louis Du Cane (her brother). Several huntsman appeared in "pink," which made them a pleasing contrast to their black coated friends, and the bright colours of the ladies dresses. Dancing was continued till 4 o'clock on Thursday morning, when the guests returned to their respective residences, or to the residences of the nobility and gentry of the neighbourhood by whom they were entertained.

Her Majesty the Queen held a Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace on Thursday afternoon. Amongst the presentations to her Majesty were the following; Prince Frederick Duleep Singh, Loyal Suffolk Hussars, by Prince Victor Duleep Singh; Miss Daisy Du Cane, by her sister, Mrs. Hallam Murray; the Countess of Essex, by the Duchess of St. Alban's; Mrs. Arthur Gilbey, by Lady Carrington; Mrs. Philip Harbord, on her marriage, by Lady Carrington; Miss Sybil Harbord, by Lady Suffield; Mrs. Lacon, by Lady Lacon.

Miss Daisy Du Cane had a gown of cream satin, plainly made, except for some old point lace which draped the bodice, the train was of the same satin, fastened from the shoulders.

Daisy died at 15 Welbeck House, Welbeck Street, Marylebone, London on 19 February 1919 due to influenza and pneumonia. Her brother Louis was with her at the time of death.
