Wiliam Sandbulte 78, died Dec. 10 at his home in the Carmel community near Sioux Center. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 13 in the Carmel Reformed Church. The Rev. Brook Stephens officiated and burial was in the Carmel Cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mr. Sandbulte was born Oct. 10, 1895, at Orange City and farmed all his life in the Carmel area. He married Rebecca M. Wesselink Feb. 12, 192l, at Carmel.

Survivors include the widow; five sons.,John of Edgerton, Minn.; Howard and Rodney, both of Carmel; Duane of Steen, Minn., and Glen of Gillette, Wyo.; seven daughters; Mrs. August (Henrietta) Draaver of Ireton; Mrs. Calvin (Angeline) Korver of Alton; Mrs. Frank (Iola) Statema of Zeeland, Mich.; Mrs. Richard (Fonda) Kooistra of Prospect Park. N.J.; Mrs. Edwin (Sharon) Kats and Mrs. James (Laura) Westra, both of Rock Valley: 70 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren: a brother, Henry, and a sister Mrs. John (Maria) Remmerde, both of Carmel.
