SEAGROVE

Robert Neice Auman, 74, of 118 Boyd Ave., Seagrove, died Jan. 8, 1997, at his residence.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church, conducted by Elder Thorton Manley and Elder John Winfield. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Auman was a native of Randolph County and retired from Luck's Inc. He was a member of Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, who served in the 232nd Search Light AAA Battalion.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida King Auman of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and Roy Edmonds of Asheboro; granddaughter and husband, Lucia and Michael Moody of Asheboro; granddaughter, Maria Edmonds of Cullowhee; great-grandson, David Moody of Asheboro; sisters, Mrs. Vivian Hinesley, Mrs. Mae Davis, both of Seagrove, Mrs. Virginia Phillips of Eagle Springs, Mrs. Blanche Nall of Robbins, Mrs. Lucy Ann Maness of Carthage; brothers, Treece Auman, Clarence Auman, Boyd Auman, Harvey Auman, Franklin Auman, all of Seagrove, and R.H. Auman of Harrisburg.

The family will be at Ridge Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Friday, and other times at the home.

Memorials may be made to Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church, 118 Boyd Ave., Seagrove, N.C. 27341.
