Blanche was born in Randolph County to Leland and Cletus Freeman Auman, the eighth of thirteen children. She graduated from Seagrove High School, where she was Senior Class President and played basketball. She married D. R. Nall, Jr in 1950 and they raised 4 children together. After the children started school she worked for many years with her husband, at Tarheel Drug in Robbins. Blanche enjoyed both vegetable and flower gardening and arranging her beautiful flowers. She also took pleasure in cooking for and spending time with all her family. Blanche enjoyed outdoors activities, like camping and playing horseshoes. She also enjoyed card games with family and friends. She loved the Lord and was an active member of her church, singing in the choir, participating in Sunday School and Women on Mission.
