FUNERAL AT NEW HAVEN
A former Louisville resident, Nancy Lee Hicks Brian, 52, of Route 3, Bardstown, died at 9:05 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at Flaget Hospital, where she was admitted March 28. Native of Nelson County, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Annabelle Hicks, of the New Hope area. Surviving are three brothers, Jesse Hicks, of Dayton, Ohio; Fred Hicks, New Hope, and Ernie Hicks, of Louisville; four sisters, Mrs. Norma Colvin and Mrs. Shirley Allgeier, both of Louisville; Mrs. Inez Brown, of Cox's Creek, and Mrs. Dorothy Porter, of New Hope. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, at St. Catherine Church, New Haven, with the Rev. Paul M. Russell, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Louisville. Pallbearers were Joey, Robin, Richard E., Larry and Bernard Hicks, Jr., and Mike Porter. The body was at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven, where a wake service was conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
