JOAN SHOFFNER, 91, of Sidney passed away at 6:15 A.M. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. She was born on October 11, 1930 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late George and Leona (Given) Sage. She was married to Marion Shoffner who preceded her in death.

Joan is survived by two children, Donald (Patricia) Shoffner of Sidney, and Geraldine Lamb of Hendersonville, NC; five grandchildren; and a multitude of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, one sister and one brother.

Joan worked for the former Copeland Corporation and retired after 36 years. She enjoyed crocheting and spent much of her time in genealogy research to the benefit of many families and local historians.

No services will be held at this time. The family will hold a private graveside service for Joan on a later date at Cedar Point Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the Shoffner family at, www.cromesfh.com
