Marion Shoffner 80, 428 Buckeye Ave. died Friday morning, Oct. 19,2001 at the Dayton Heart Hospital. He was born April 15,1921, in Shelby County, the son of Fred A. Shoffner and Ida (Brown)Shoffner

On Aug.31,1946, he married Joan (Sage), Shoffner who survives. Other survivors are a son, Don Shoffner of Sidney; a daughter Geraldine Lamb of Henderson N.C, three brothers Fred L. Shoffner, Cecil Shoffner, and Lloyd Shoffner; all of Sidney,
A sister Rose Evelyn Fogt of Anna, seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Four sister preceded him in death.

Mr. Shoffner worked 40 years for Copeland Corp.in Machine Repair, retiring in 1986. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a lifetime member of Sidney VFW and a member of the American Legion Post 217, he was a member of Piqua Moose Lodge 2167.

Services are set for Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, with the Rev Leamon Branscum officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Point Cemetery Pasco.
Friend may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial may be made to the Shelby County Kidney Center 1015 Fair Road.
