Clemmie Ida Worley Roberts, 88, died Saturday, Nov. 28, in a Marshall nursing home.
She was a lifelong resident of Madison County, and was a homemaker.
She was one of the oldest members of Big Pine Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Caney and Onie Worley Payne, and the wife of the late Woodall Worley, and Burnett Roberts.
Surviving are a daughter, Elva Barrett; five sisters, Elsie Sallotte, Ora Baker, Nellie Massey, Evie Payne and Mearl Davis; two brothers, Henry and Jerry Payne; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren.
