He was born Nov 26, 1924, in the Town of Delmar to Margaret (Brunner) and Leo Kane. He farmed in Delmar until 1968. In 1973, he moved to the Golden Age Home where he had resided since.
Survivors include eight brothers: Paul, Joseph, George, Leo Jr, Francis,Christopher, Patrick, Theodore; seven sisters: Sister Rose, Mary Kane, Lucy Delzel, Grace Wienser, Theresa Jeldon, Catherine Rosehll, Martha Richards; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Josephine.
