Leo M. Kane, 72, well-known Town of Colburn farmer, passed away late Wednesday afternoon.
He was born July 6, 1897, in the Town of Colburn. On Feb 22, 1922, he was married to Margaret Brunner at Boyd. He lived his entire life on the farm where he was born, and was well thought of in the community.
Mr Kane is survived by his wife; nine sons: John, Paul, Joseph, George,Leo Jr, Francis, Christopher, Patrick, Theodore; eight daughters: Sister Mary Rose, Mary Kane, Theresa (Lavern) Jelden, Lucy (Arthur) Delzer, Grace (Norman) Weisner, Martha (Neil) Richards, Josephine Kane, Catherine Kane; 20 grandchildren; two sisters: Mayme Drace, Nora Novak.
