Funeral services for Mr. William Kroese were held Thursday, April 30, 1:00 o'clock at the home and 1:30 p.m. at the Christian Reformed Church at Hull. Mr. Kroese passed away at his home Monday, April 27, of a sudden heart attack. Rev. H. C. Van Deelen officiated. Burial was in the Hope Cemetery at Hull.

He was born August 17, 1906, at Hornick, Iowa. At an early age he, with his parents, moved to Hull, Ia. On January 16, 1930 he was united in marrage with Minnie Te Slaa.

He leaves to mourn, his wife, one son and three daughters, namely Charles W. Kroese of Hull, Iowa; (Verna) Mrs. Leroy Moret of Ashton, Iowa; (Hester) Mrs. Orlin Hogan of Hull, Iowa, and Joan at home.

He also leaves to mourn, four brothers and six sisters: (Jessie) Mrs. Peter Stienstra, Redlands, Cal., John Kroese of Hull, Peter Kroese of Hull, Ivan Kroese of HulI, (Gertrude) Mrs. John Van Otterloo of Lakewood, Calif, Nellie Kroese of Hull, Mrs. Evelyn Marra of Hull, (Wilma) Mrs. Joe Miersma of Hull; (Anna) Mrs. Louis Wielinga of Boyden, Charles Kroese of Hull, and 7 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kroese, and one brother, Joe Kroese.

A quartette consisting of Bernard Vander Griend, Tim Roetman, Tommy Mulder and Louis Van Ginkel sang "I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say" as a special number at the services. Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased: Ivan Stienstra, James Kroese, Thane Marra and John B. Te Slaa.
