Funeral services for Minnie Kroese, 82, of Hull were held Monday at First Christian Reformed Church, Hull, with interment in Hope Cemetery. She died Thursday, April 29, 1993, at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Minnie TeSlaa was born September 17, 1910, at Sioux Center. She lived her entire life in the area, attending grade school in Doon and Perkins. On January 16, 1930, she married William Kroese at Orange City. They farmed at Hull. Her husband died April 27, 1959.

In November, 1960, she moved into Hull. She was employed at an egg plant in Sheldon and later became a cook at Pleasant Acres Care Center, Hull. She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church, Hull, where she belonged to the Helping Hand Society.

Survivors include one son, Charles of Hull; three daughters, Verna Moret of Evergreen, Colorado, Mrs. Rev. Orlin (Hester) Hogan of Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, and Mrs. Junior (Joan) Hoitmeyer of Hollandale, Minnesota; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Reka TeSlaa and Cynthia Kroese both of Hull, and Hannah Mouw of San Bernadino, California.
