In memory of Jane White.

She was the daughter of Robert Sr & Mildred "Milly" [Whitehead] White. It is very probable that Jane is buried in Caswell County North Carolina, where her father was living near his father-in-law, William Whitehead. They were living in this county at leaset from 1780 to 1788.

Jane is accounted for on the NC 1784 Census, that was taken in Caswell Co NC in 1786.
So that would place her death between 1786-1788.

Her father was away in the Revolutionary war from 1775-1781, soldiers were sent
home on leave, to tend crops etc, when not engaged. After the War, Robert met
up with the family in Caswell District of Caswell Co NC, on Hogan's Creek, where his
wife's father, William Whitehead, was living, which was 2 farms from where Robert White's land was located, also on Hogan's Creek.
