WEAVERVILLE– Paul M. Fox, age 70, of Weaverville, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 after a brief illness.
Mr. Fox was born January 21, 1938 in Madison County and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of his life. He was employed with Ingle's Market in Weaverville. He was the son of the late Claude Fox and Gennie Allen Fox Rice. Paul was also preceded in death by brothers, Richard and Carl Fox; sisters, Glenna Rice Juanita Ball, Harriette Clark, Louise Cantrell and Gennie Alice Fox; children, Rickey Lynn Fox and Donna Kay Fox.
Surviving is his wife of 47 years, Charlotte Johnson Fox; daughter, Karen Fox of Weaverville; sisters, Madge Arrowood and Claudia Green both of Marshall and Minnie Haney of Kingsport, Tenn.; brother, Wade Fox of Weaverville and several nieces and nephews also survive him.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Elk Mountain Baptist Church of which he was a member with the Rev.'s Mike Woodard and Randy Barton officiating. Burial will be in Allen Family Cemetery in Madison County.
