Carl Felmet Fox, 77, of Monnie Jones Road, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at his home.
A native of Madison County, Mr. Fox had spent most of his life in the Weaverville area. Mr. Fox was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church.
Mr. Fox was a son of the late Claude Fox and Gennie Allen Fox. He also was preceded in death by a son, Carl Junior Fox.
Mr. Fox leaves behind his wife, Patsy W. Fox; daughter, Mary Ann Griffin and her husband, Larry, of Weaverville; son, Kenneth Fox of Weaverville; sisters, Madge Arrowood and Claudia Green of Marshall and Minnie Haney of Kingsport, Tenn.; brothers, Richard Fox of Chester, S.C., Wade Fox and Paul Fox of Weaverville; grandchildren, Travis Fox and his wife, Leslie, and Diane Fox of Albuquerque, N.M., Jeremy and Aaron Fox of Weaverville; great-grandchildren, Kymbria and Ezekiel Fox of New Mexico.
The funeral service for Mr. Fox will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Madison Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Frank Hopkins. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be Aaron Fox, Kenneth Fox, Larry Griffin, Hall Honeycutt and C.S. Haney.
