Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Saturday in Fentress for Thomas A. Coleman, 80, father of former Mississippi governor J. P. Coleman of Ackerman and Mrs. Lacoy Golden of Vaughan. Burial was in Enon Cemetery with Adams Funeral Home in charge. He died Friday at his farm near Ackerman of an apparent heart attack.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Jennie Warrell Coleman, three sons, one daughter and one brother, A. B. Coleman.
