In April 1930 Elizabeth (11 years old, born in Canada), her father David Leep (43, Holland, truck farmer), mother Fannie (41, Holland), siblings Nicholas (18, Illinois, truck farmer), Henry (16, Illinois), Anton (14, Illinois) and Martin (7, Illinois) were living on their own farm in Martin Township, Allegan County, in the western part of Michigan, about 20 miles south of Grand Rapids too. The family of her uncle Duke Leep was living there too.
In May 1940 Elizabeth (21, secretary ) lived with her uncle Edward A Leep (32, Illinois, pasteurizer at a wholesale diary), his wife Jeanette (27, Indiana) and their two sons in the Dutch settlement of Highland, North Township, Lake County, in the extreme northwestern part of Indiana, adjacent to Cook County and Chicago in Illinois.
On March 6, 1941 Elizabeth Leep married in Lake County, Indiana the nine years older Arnold Zandstra. They had five sons and two daughters.
In 1998 Elizabeth was living on her 80th birthday in the by Dutch founded town of Munster, Lake County, in the extreme northwestern part of Indiana, where she died in 2006 at the age of almost 88 years. Her widower Arnold Zandstra died in 2012 at the age of 102 years in Highland, Lake County, Indiana.
