Edwin G. Banks
Tivoli - Edwin G. Banks, 67, of Tivoli died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 1996.
He was born Feb. 5, 1928, in Burnsville, N.C., to the late Charles Clausel and Amey Agnes Blankenship Banks. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Banks was retired from Brown & Root as a supervisor. He was a Presbyterian.
Survivors: wife, Della Banks; daughters, Nadine Arnold of Austwell and Pamela Banks Linberg of Houston; sons, Ben Banks of Tivoli and Calvin Banks of Crestview, Fla.; sisters, Evelyn McPeters of Burnsville, N.C., Madge Fagan of Tivoli, Carolyn Stern of Las Vegas, Nev., Aldine Johnson of Newport News, Va., June Everhart of Ashville, N.C., and Ann Higgins of Rutherfordton, N.C., brothers, Vernon Banks and Bruce Banks, both of Burnsville, N.C., and Ben Banks of Charlotte, N.C. and four grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by: sister, Ina Angel and brothers, Ralin Banks, Hobert Banks and Will Banks.
Visitations will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Colonial Funeral Home on Red River.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Tivoli Presbyterian Church, the Rev. O'Quinn Kelley officiating
Burial will be at Tivoli Cemetery, Colonial Funeral Home, Victoria, 578-3535.
