Donnie McKenzie Salyers, 82, died Saturday, February 8 in Marysville, Ohio. Mrs. Salyers was born October 21, 1909 in Johnson County, the daughter of Toby and Spicy Tackett McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Logan Salyers. Surviving are four sons, Bobbie Lemaster and James and Corvin Salyers, all of Sitka, and Jessie Salyers of Columbus, Ohio; six daughters, Lavonjalene Wilcox of Sitka, Martha Estep and Bonnie Estep, both of Marysville, Irene Crabtree and Minnie Dingledine, both of Milford Center, Ohio, and Hester Music of Mechanicsburg, Ohio; one brother, Frances McKenzie of Sitka; one sister, Alka Murray of Sitka; and 36 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 11 in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville. Paintsville Herald 2-8-1991
