Bio

My personal house burnt 12/31. It's been all I could handle to just try to keep up with the repairs, contractors and scheduling. Be patient, I love my genealogy work and will continue it as soon as this recent crisis is over.

I just keep adding on to my original profile, but it is all important information.
I wrote the following few paragraphs when I first started researching my tree. They are as true today as they were back then. However, If there's one thing that has shown to be more important than anything else it's teamwork!! No one person can document all the information that needs to be made public. That's why the edit tab at the top of your profile page is so important. Please give a look at that list of entries as often as possible. As you process the entries, visiting the memorial pages and comparing them to your own work is crucial and informative. You'll find family members that you were never able to find before, because now, they've been linked. Genealogy is not fiction, its facts. Facts about every person listed. Check it out, you never know what may have been added since your last visit.

As far as genealogy is concerned, I guess I'm a "newbie" started in 2005. My mother died in April, my step father died in July, and my sister died in October all in 2005. It finally dawned on me that all my history was gone. I've found some great people out there willing to help me to put my "tree" together. I want to give back as much as I've gotten. I take pictures of headstones in cemeteries that I visit and intend to do more. I want to share those photos with anyone who wants to use them.

If I've input some of your family and they are not relatives of mine, I'll gladly transfer them to you. Please use the edit tab on the memorial page to make your suggestions and add your links. The common courtesy of asking for changes and links instead of demanding is appreciated.

I can't stress enough the importance of the edits tab. The edit tab contains a list of corrections or additions that someone else has found for established memorials. Please look at this tab and process the ones listed for you. This is one of best "team" projects for genealogy. Let's all contribute the little pieces of information that everyone else may not have. IT'S ALL IMPORTANT.
