A son Nathan was born in South Hampton on May 14, 1783 and married "Polly" Brown in Kensington on Sept. 11, 1822, but there is no record of his death or place of burial so far. His brother Moses moved to Fayette, Kennebec, Maine at some point in time and it is possible he went there after his son's death. There is a stone near Moses for Sarah R. Marston French who was adopted by "Moses and Polly" French.

This stone is naturally broken along a seam and apparently has been for some time. The top portion was set in place and propped to take this picture. No repairs have been made.
