He was employed by Marathon Oil Company for 34 years having lived in Houston, Michigan, Ohio, Alaska and London, England. He retired in 1986, as Engineering Manager in the United Kingdom for Marathon Oil. He lived in Dallas at the time of his death.
Survived by a loving family of five sisters - Lois Poston and Dorothy Offield, both of Breckenridge, Betty McDaniel of Dallas, Joyce Wagoner of Irving, Dolly Harrold of Odessa; two brothers - Guinn Ferguson of Midland and Ray Ferguson of Wayne, NJ; two sister-in-laws - Barbara Ferguson and Raymonde Ferburson, two brother-in-laws - Claude Poston and Hap Wagoner; 15 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
