ODESSA Dolly Ferguson Harrold of Odessa, TX, passed unexpectedly on November 20th from a pulmonary embolism. She was born in Breckenridge, TX on March 31, 1939 - the ninth of 10 children born to Fred and Ruby Ferguson. Her siblings, Virginia and Patricia Ferguson, Lois Poston, Joyce Wagoner, Betty McDaniel and Fred and Ray Ferguson preceded her in death. Dolly is survived by her brother, Guinn Ferguson of Midland, and sister, Dorothy Offield of Breckenridge. Dolly had three children. Gil Harrold died at 16 in 1977. She is survived by her son, Phil Harrold and his wife, Sharon, and her daughter, Julie Keough and husband Bruce. She had 3 grandchildren: Shana and Bobby Creel, Ryan and Heather Harrold, and Amy Keough. She also had 4 great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Nicholas, Conner, and Steven.
We are heartbroken by our mother's sudden passing, but we were blessed by her 76 years on earth. She was a faithful Christian who is now with her son and her siblings.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 27th at the Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord in Odessa, TX at 2 pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 28th at the cemetery in Breckenridge, TX at 1 pm. We request that memorials be directed to the Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord at 1603 N.
