MRS. BERNICE C. HAMBY

Mrs. Bernice C. Hamby, 75 died Saturday at a nursing home at 3918 Charlotte St., where she lived. Mrs. Hamby was a lifelong Kansas City resident. She leaves a son, Lawrence Hamby, Covina, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Beverly Sanchez, Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Darlene Hayes, Houston, and Mrs. Christine Beard, San Diego; two sisters, Mrs. Margarite Williams, Kansas City, and Mrs. Catherine Riggin, Grandview; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Earp Truman Road Chapel; burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel.
