LAWRENCE E. SLEYSTER
Lawrence E. Sleyster, 67, of Blue Springs, died yesterday at the Osteopathic hospital. He was born here and had lived in Blue Springs 14 years. Mr. Sleyster was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. He was a member of Kansas City Masonic lodge No. 220. Mr. Sleyster was employed by Sears, Roebuck and company as an interior decorator seven years, retiring four years ago. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mildred Sleyster of the home; a step-daughter, Mrs. Wauneta Kinckel, 542 Park; a step-son, Bruce Coffey of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Bernice Hamby, 1732 Missouri, Mrs. Margerite Williams, 4824 East Sixth, Mrs. Catherine Riggens, 5115 East Forty-first, and Mrs. Estella Bonham, 5212 East Sixth, and one grandson. Services will be at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday at the Mayfield chapel, Blue Springs; burial in Elmwood cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight at the chapel.
