Mrs. Floyd Grace Passes Away After Long Illness

Mrs. Flora Grace, of 868 Wilkinson street, age 20, died yesterday of tuberculosis after a lingering illness of several months.

Mrs. Grace is survived by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. James [sic] Meriwether of this city, three brothers, Addison, Arthur and Raymond Meriwether, and a son Addison Grace.

The funeral will take place Friday at 10 o'clock, the services being held at the house after which the burial will take place at Grafenburg.

[Note: Flora's parents were Junius (not James) and Druzy (Hawkins) Meriwether. Her husband, Harlan Proctor Grace, died of TB on Feb. 2, 1917, only 5 months before his wife. They married in 1912 and had a daughter, Juanita, who was born in 1915 and died in March of 1917. The surviving son, Robert L. Grace, was born in 1913 and died in 1952.]

She has no gravestone. Her grave is said to be marked with a rock but there are quite a few graves marked by rocks in this cemetery.
