Mrs Johanna Josie aka Anna Mikels Bottorff, 75, died Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the home of her grandson, Elmer Grove 1007 South Twenty-first street, following an illness of six months. She was born December 26, 1862, at South Raub and was married to Rolley Bottorff, who died in 1924. She was a member of the Congress street M E church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Bessie Grove and Mrs William Elston, of Lafayette; a son, Elijah Bottorff, of Columbia City; two sisters; Mrs Elizabeth Lake, of Lafayette, and Mrs Ella Fidler, of Crane Station; a brother, George Mikels of Battle Ground; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The body was removed to the Soller-Baker funeral home, where friends may call after 6 o'clock Saturday evening. Services will be conducted Monday afternnoon at 2 o'clock from the funeral home, with Rev G P Burton and Rev Charles L Harper officiating. Interment in Spring Vale Cemetery.
