HEMPSTEAD, LI, Sept 12 - Mrs Ella Ross Tenney, widow of Dr WAR Tenney, former health officer of Cincinnati, died here yesterday morning after a week's illness. Her age was 78. A service was conducted today at Cornell's Funeral Parlors by the Rev Frank M Kerr, pastor of Christ's First Presbyterian Church. The body will be cremated and the ashes deposited in the family vault in Riverside Cemetery at Troy, Ohio.
Mrs Tenney was a native of Ohio. Prior to coming here she made her home with a son, the late Judge Charles Tenney of Manila, PI.
A daughter, Mrs RS Eastman, survives, Mrs Tenney had made her home with Mr and Mrs Eastman at Patterson Avenue, here.
