I find it amusing that genealogy has brought me "full circle" in my life. Like many first-time parents, mine decided that a short stay at Grandma's house would be helpful for Mom and me. Just days after my birth, my parents drove me directly from the hospital to... the cemetery. Yep, my grandparents' house was IN our town's cemetery since they were the caretakers. Needless to say, I spent lots of time in cemeteries growing up, helping with various chores, etc. Now, decades later, I find myself again in cemeteries thanks to genealogy and Find-A-Grave.
