Kenneth Rains, 85, of Princeton, died Friday, August 27 at Johnston Medical Center. He was born September 30, 1924 in Johnston County and was the son of the late James Patterson Rains and Fannie Yelverton Rains.
The funeral service was conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, August 29 at Casey Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael Coppock officiating.
Burial followed in the Princeton Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lossie Hinton Rains; sons, Eddie Rains of Nashville, NC and Donald Ray Rains of Kenly; a daughter, Sandy Fuller of Micro; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
