Bio

My favorite part of Find A Grave is fulfilling photo request. I have been roaming cemeteries for approx. 40 years. I like Find A Grave so that I might help someone else discover their ancestors. I also work for our local genealogy society to photo as many headstones as possible. We have over 1200 cemeteries in our county on farms, in cities, in backyards, in the woods, across creeks. My tools include a machete, chainsaw, whisk broom, white foam board to better direct bright sunlight. Sometimes a string trimmer, shovel, always boots when not in some manicured public cemetery. I work part time for a funeral home, spent 15 years in EMS/Rescue, and in Vietnam back in the day. Seen my share of the death & dying.
