Sara Jeannette Ball Cooper, age 84, of Pisgah Forest, made heaven shine brighter when she went home to be with the Lord March 14, 2010 at her home after a period of declining health. She retired from Ecusta and was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. A native of Madison County, North Carolina she was preceded in death by her parents, George Henry Ball and Rhoda James Ball, brothers, Robert Roberts, Walter Coleman and Richard Ball and one sister Daisey Conner of Marshall, North Carolina.
She leaves behind her beloved children, Bobby Cooper and his wife Belinda of Penrose, North Carolina, Donna Gillespie and husband Tommy of Brevard, North Carolina, Suzanne Stroup and husband Charles of East Fork, North Carolina and Irene Stowe and husband Bruce of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one brother Dallas Ball and his wife Faye of Mills River, North Carolina, four sisters, Mattie Ball of Alexander, North Carolina, Jean Rice of Leicester, North Carolina, Eloise Riddle and husband Howard, and Altha Ball of Marshall, North Carolina.
Funeral services will e held Wednesday March 17, 2010 at 3 p. m. at Moody-Connelly Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Tommy Owen and Rev. Mark Golden and Soloist Rev. Barry Wilet. Intermant will follow at Pisgah Gardens, Pishah Forest, North Carolina.
The family will receive fiends Wednesday from 1 - 3 p. m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
