Mrs. Lizzie Hopp, 86, formerly of 317 W. Jefferson, St., Waupun, died Wednesday at Christian Home, Waupun where she resided for nine years.

Born Sept. 23, 1889, in the town of Alto,she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ryer Van Loo. She was married to John Hopp on March 17, 1908 at Alto.

The couple farmed in the Alto area until moving to Waupun aproximately 58 years ago when Mr. Hopp became employed by the Shaler Co. Mrs. Hopp was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church, and Martha Circle.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James S. (Henrietta) Frens and Mrs. Lawrence (Alieta) Schouten, both of Waupun; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ben Van Loo, of Waupun.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 17. 1945 and by a daughter, five brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Emmanuel
Reformed Church, Waupun, with the Rw. John H. DeHaan officiating. Burial will follow in Alto Cemetery. Friends of Mrs. Hopp may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Kohls Co. Funeral Home, Waupun and at the church Friday until time of services.
