Cornelius Van Loo, 506 Maxon street, died Saturday night, Aug 20, at the Dodge County Home for the Aged in Juneau. He was 81 years old.
He was born june 12, 1879, in the town of Alto, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Reyer Van Loo. He married Lucy Hopp Oct 4, 1905, in the town of Alto.
A member of the First Reformed church, he was a farmer in the town of Waupun before moving to the City.
Mr. Van Loo is survived by his wife; two sons, Raymond and Alfred, and one daughter, Mrs. Delmar Schouten, all of Waupun; two brothers, Ben of Waupun and Ralph of Brandon; and two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Hopp of Waupun and Miss Winnie Van Loo of Alto.
Three brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the First Reformed church, and burial was in the Alto cemetery. The Rev. William Rosenberg officiated.
Pallbearers were, Gerrit Hopp, Bert Mulder, James Frens, James Hopp, James Van Loo and Arthur Van Loo.
