Mrs. Reyer Van Loo, 89, died at her home in the township of Alto last Thursday at 9:30 a.m. She had been in falling health for the past year.

Nee Alida Kappers, Mrs. Van Loo was born Jan 24, 1857, in Sheboygan. She was married to Reyer Van Loo in Alto on Sept 4, 1878. Mr. Van Loo died 47 years ago.

Survivors are: six sons, Albert, Benjamin, and Reyer Van Loo, at home. Cornelius of the town of Waupun, Ralph of Brandon, and John of Waupun; two daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Hopp of Waupun and Miss Winnie Van Loo at home. 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

The Rev. J. C. Van Wyk officiated at the funeral services in the Beyers Funeral home Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Alto Reformed church. Pallbearers were Cornelius Bronkhorst, Chris D. Vande Berg, and Ed Van Loo of Waupun, Matt Redeker of Alto, and William Smits and Louis J. Redeker of Brandon. Burial was in Alto cemetery.
