Charles Ray Sparks (Cecil Sparks, Jr) was the son of Cecil Brown Sparks and Georgia Ledford Sparks. He grew up in the Rebels Creek Community in Boonford, N C. He served as a Master Sargeant in the U S Airforce in the Vietnam War. He was married to Edna Sparks from Mine Creek.
