Dr. Thomas Meriwether, MD, died Sept. 17, 1950, at his home in Wewahitchka, Fla., where he had practiced medicine for many years.
Dr. Meriwether was chairman of the Gulf County School Board for 22 years, vice-president of the Wewahitchka State Bank, treasurer of the local Masons, and a member of the Gulf Coast Shrine Club. He was a Methodist, and a member of Kappa Psi.
Survivors include his widow, and two daughters, Mrs. Max Kilbourn and Smythie Meriwether.
