B. B. Meriwether, 55, a resident of Mt. Meigs for 25 years, died at his home last night at 7 o'clock after a brief illness. Surviving are his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Taylor Smith, Richmond, Va., and Mrs. Richard Foster, Taft, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. H. N. Bowdry, Birmingham, and Mrs. R. E. Donaldson, Mt. Meigs. The funeral will be held from his home today at 3 p.m. with the Rev. E. M. Parkman, of this city, officiating. The body will be sent to Birmingham at 6:20 p.m. for burial Sunday. Diffly's Funeral Home in charge.
