LaFayette Murdoch Meriwether, 51, passed away suddenly Thursday morning. Funeral services will be held Friday at 4 p.m. from Luquire's Norwood Home, 1115 N. 24th St. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery.

He is survived by one son, L. M. Meriwether, Jr.; one daughter, Mrs. P. L. Woodson; two sisters, Mrs. H.N. Bowdry and Mrs. L. W. Donaldson, and one brother, B. B. Meriwether.

Pallbearers, Mr. I. C. Beatty, Mr. John Cole, Mrs. W. F. Franklin, Mr. W.L. Simmons, Mr. E. M. Zimmerman, Mr. S. W. Donaldson.

Funeral services for LaFayette Murdoch Meriwether, 51, of 1418 Manhattan, Homewood, who died suddenly Thursday, were to be conducted at Luquire's Funeral Home, 1115 North Twenty-Fourth Street, at 4 p.m. Friday, burial in Elmwood Cemetery.

Surviving are one son, L. M. Jr.; one daughter, Mrs. P. L. Woodson; two sisters, Mrs. H. N. Bowdry and Mrs. L. W. Donaldson, and one brother, B. B. Meriwether.
