I spent a while in Georgia looking for the resting place of William & Francis Pleasant, came up empty handed.
The only reference was a plaque in some obscure town with his name on it as a soldier.
His lineage appears to be as follows:
Joseph Pleasants B @ 1738, Mary Aiken B @ 1745
Joseph Pleasants B @ 1710, Sarah Goode B @ 1710
Joseph Pleasants B @ 1680, B:Curles, Henrico Co. Va.
D: 09 Sep 1725, Henrico.
wife: Martha Cocke, B @ 1685 Henrico, D 1727 Henrico
Joseph Pleasants B @ 1644 England, D: 12 May 1698
Wife: Jane Larcome B @ 1644 Curles D: 1708 Curles

What's left of John & Mary's crypt is a jumble of bricks next to daughter Samantha (Clower) Burch Lewis' tombstone. I am the direct line & I visited and photographed this location in 1992, spoke with an elderly man across the street who used to "play on as a child" the crypt before it became a statistic to "time and vandals" & can verify it's authencity. The quotes are his direct words.
