Harrington Funeral Set Tomorrow
Funeral services for insurance agent Joe V. Harrington will be at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at Fountain City Methodist Church, Dr. J. Woodford Stone officiating. Interment will be in Lynnhurst Cemetery.
Mr. Harrington, 58, was found dead in the yard of his home in Fountain City yesterday, apparently the victim of a heart attack. He operated Harrington Insurance Agency with offices at 511 West Church Avenue. He was a member of Fountain City Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Reita Giddens; five children, daughters, Mrs. Charles V. Briscoe, Chapel Hill, N. C., Mrs. Gerald Enos, Miss Joreita Harrington, Miss Margie Harrington; Son, Glenard Harrington, Fountain City; sisters, Mrs. Minno Johnson, Fountain City, and Mrs. F. H. Abel, Dayton; brothers, John Harrington and T. R. GIDDENS-HARRINGTON
Miss Reita Giddens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. T. Giddens of Fountain City, and Joe Harrington were married at the First Baptist Church, on Thursday, Jan. 1, 1931. The Rev F. F. Brown, pastor of the church, officiated.
Following a short honeymoon trip Mr. and Mrs. Harrington are at home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Harrington of Garden Avenue.
Several parties have been planned to honor Mrs. Harrington.
