French Royalty. Oldest son of Louis VI and Adélaide of Savoy. Following tradition he was crowned while his father was still alive, that was in 1129. Two years later he fell from a horse and died from the injuries. His younger brother Louis, who would have preferred to become a monk succeeded their father instead.
