William Earl Roberts, 64, of Marshall, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2018.
Earl was born August 21, 1953 in Madison County and was the son of the late Howard and Louise Fender Roberts. He was a lifelong and faithful member of Foster Creek Baptist Church and retired firefighter with the Ebbs Chapel Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed his days with the men of the fire department and the family wishes to thank them for the compassion and care they gave to Earl. The family would like to thank all who contributed to Earl’s care and wellbeing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lucy Roberts.
Left to cherish his memories are his sister, Jane Lewis (David); brother, Jimmy Roberts (Kathy); nieces and nephew: Sharon Moser (Jeff), Amy Scott (Larry), Rachel Lewis (Chris), Julie Michalove (Benj) and Capt. Coby Roberts (Chelsea); great nieces and nephews: Harrison Monroe, Andrew Larken Moser, Cooper Larken, Lillian Sidney Scott, Roddy Lewis, Jack David Michalove, Hattie Mae Hunt and Emma Louise Roberts.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Foster Creek Baptist Church with Reverends Ken Parker, Edward Hoyle, Gordon Peek and Nick Coates officiating. Pallbearers will be the members of Ebbs Chapel Volunteer Fire Department. Interment will follow at Holcombe Cemetery.
