Loie McCurter was born in Indiana to Robert and Artemisia McCurter who had several children in Indiana and had an additional children after moving to Missouri. The McCurter’s were a farming family. Loie McCurter married Lee Roy Forbuss, and while living in Missouri had at several children. The Forbuss’ were a farming family. Lee Roy Forbuss died in 1966 in Missouri, and Loie died more than 21 years later after moving to Illinois.
