Mrs Mary Wilkins Fail, 92, of Goldsboro, died Tuesday, July 19, in Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The daughter of the late Tom and Sara Massengill Wilkins, she was the widow of Needham Fail and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 21, at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, Dr James Chesney officiated. Burial was in Wayne Memorial Park.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs Lula Littleton of Goldsboro, Miss Helen Fail of the home, and Mrs Louise Kesslick and Mrs Rena Jones of Greensboro; six sons, Joe B Fail of Spring Lake, John Faison Fail of Fayetteville, William W Fail of Goldsboro, Jack D Fail and George L Fail of Greensboro, and Ralph L Fail of Killeen, TX; two step-daughters, Mrs Ella House of Greensboro and Mrs Udella McCoy of Miami; two sisters, Mrs Maggie Pearce and Mrs Hartense Capps of Princeton; 31 grandchildren; 54 great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
