G. Kathleen Littman, 69, of Rt. 1,
Delphi, died at 12:45 a.m. May, 12,
1990, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare
Center.
She was born Aug. 1, 1920, in
Brookston, the daughter of Jesse
and Gladys Stumbaugh England.
Married to Robert Evans, then in 1946 to J.P.
Teel, who died in 1963. Kate then
married Edward W. Littman
on Dec. 17,1966, in Lafayette,
and he survives.
She was a graduate of Brookston
High School, and had worked for
the former businesses, Delphi
Bakery and Hyman Grocery Stare
as a cashier.
Mrs. Littman was a member of
St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in
Delphi. She also was a member of
Delphi Business Women's Association,
Delphi American Legion
Auxiliary and Modem Mrs. EH
Club. She was a former president
of the American Legion Auxiliary
in Brookston.
Surviving with her husband are
two sons, Forrest R. Evans, Detroit,
Mich., and A. Joe Teel, Pittsburg;
one sister, Elizabeth Gardner,
Lafayette; a brother, John England,
Sorrento, Fla.; three stepchildren,
Elsie Berkey, Flora; Charles Teel,
Battle Ground; and Alice Miller,
Colfax; one grandson and several
step grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews
and great nieces.
Services were Tuesday at Horn
Funeral Home with Pastor Arnold
Raabe officiating. Burial was in
IOOF Memorial Gardens, Delphi.
Memorials may be made to St.
Matthew's Lutheran Church.
