Joe Teel, 77, Dies,
Final Rites Tuesday
Brookston - Funeral services
will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday
at the Thompson funeral home
in Brookston for Joe P. Teel,
77 of Brookston. Rev. Ron
Smith and Rev. Carl Beaver
will officiate. Burial will be in
the Pittsburg cemetery.
Teel died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday
at his home following an illness
of eight months.
He was born in Virginia and
was first married to Violet
Stewart in 1913, His second mar-
riage was to Kathleen Evans
in 1948.
He was a retired farmer in
the Camden community for 23
years and for 18 years he farm
ed in the Brookston community.
Survivors include his widow;
two daughters, Mrs: Millard
Myer of Dayton, and Mrs. Earl
Berkey, Flora; two sons,
Charles, of Battle Ground, and
Joe, at home; one step-son
Forrest Robert, at home; one
sister, Zimmie Sharp, Lafa-
yette, three brothers, Terry, of
Camden, Price, of Burlington,
and Ben, of Brookston; 15
grandchildren, and seven great
grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
