MRS. AMER ELROD BELL, 88, of Royston, GA, widow of Jasper Bell, died Sunday, August 30, 1987, at Cobb Memorial Hospital.
Born in Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Dave and Jane Ayers Elrod. She was a member of Middle River Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Marvin Baker of Danielsville, Miss Ossie Bell of Royston and Mrs. George Cothran of Austell; sons, Ray, B. T. and Thurman Bell of Royston, Leon Bell of Jonesboro, Charles Bell of Hull and Hubert Bell of Colbert; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday, September 1st, at Hall Funeral Home by Rev. Thomas Whitfield and Rev. Cranford Carnes. Burial was in Franklin Memorial Gardens, North.
