He died Tuesday in Huron Road Hospital at Cleveland, Ohio.
He was born at Little Rock, Ark., and lived in Indianapolis 20 years. He was a manufacturer's representative three years for Imperial Clothing of Cleveland.
He was a member of Speedway Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Murat Strine, Speedway Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Seventh and Eighth United Christian Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War, and retired as a chief petty officer.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Martha E. Mills, and two sons, J. Philip Mills of Indianapolis and C. Jay Mills of Baldwin, N.Y.
