John William Mills, aged 71, of Kingsland died Wednesday of last week at a hospital in Fordyce.

Mr. Mills was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Kingsland Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Martin Mills; four sons, John R. Mills of Indianapolis, Ind., and Billy Mills, Jerry Wayne Mills and J. C. Mills, all of Kingsland; four daughters, Johnnie Mae Willis of Los Angeles, and Misses Mary Elizabeth Mills, Miss Martha June Mills, and Miss Emma Jean Mills, all of Kingsland; two brothers, J. A. Mills and Charlie Mills, both of Little Rock; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Poole of North Little Rock, and Mrs. Louis Graves of Ferndale, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday morning at the First Baptist Church in Kingsland, conducted by Rev. James H. O'Cain and Rev. Robert Crockett. Graveside services were at Roselawn Memorial Park cemetery in Little Rock.
